"Lucky Pigs" is the name given to our Winnebago motor-home by the previous owners who had friends from New Zealand who used to call them "Lucky Pegs" because they were living and traveling in the Winnebago around Australia as we are now doing. "Lucky Pigs" in New Zealand are equivalent to "Lucky Buggers" here in Australia. We decided to keep the existing name after purchasing it in February 2010.

ADELAIDE
Settlement day for the sale of our house was today. We left the house and spent the night at Joe's place. We had already ordered a new Suzuki Grand Vitara 3 door which we planned to flat tow behind our 28ft. Winnebago Alpine, "Lucky Pigs" which we had purchased from Bruce & Dianne Symons in Darwin. The delivery date for the Suzuki was to be 1st March when we planned to return with the Winnebago to Adelaide from Darwin, as we planned to live in the Winnebago in Adelaide for six months in order to get used to the changes in our lives. We therefore made a booking for six months from 1st March with the Windsor Gardens Caravan Park in Adelaide. Cost was to be $144.00 per week.
