Well we have had some thunderstorms and rain lately, with falls ranging from 40 to 80mm, which
turns everthing into a lake, but the next day it can be 30 degrees and humid as well. Yesterday
afternoon we had a big electrical thunderstorm with lightning bolt spearing directly to the ground
around us! Daisy was beside herself, especially when this very loud clap of thunder happened
right above the motor-home, and it made both of us jump with fright as well! Consequence of
all this water is frogs - they are everwhere even spawning in the pit beneath cattle grids. The
chorus at night is so wonderful though as they all are croaking. We now have a resident green
tree frog under the motor-home somewhere as we hear it croaking most nights now. Some of
the green tree frogs reside inside the water down-pipes and it is funny to hear their amplyified
croaking at night too.
